How I work
Start with the highest-priority requirement.
A focused website project does not always require weeks of discovery. I'll review the current setup, agree the required outcome and recommend a proportionate scope. Many projects land around 10–20 hours, but the estimate is based on the work rather than an arbitrary limit.
Before I start, I set out the scope, estimate and assumptions in writing. I complete the work, explain any technical issues or dependencies and leave the code in your control when the project is finished.
